Hampstead Heath und Parliament Hill

Kenwood House in Hampstead Heath, London

Hampstead Heath is a huge park in the north of London.

The easiest way to get there is by car, trying to get a parking space near Kenwood House. But if you have no car, you can take the Tube to Highgate. From there you walk approximatively 25 minutes to Kenwood House.

Admire Kenwood House, the lake and the gardens next door. A café is located right next to the building, so you can start your tour on a relaxed way. ;-)

We propose you this walk, which takes about an hour, crossing through Hampstead Heath from north to south. On this way, there are beautiful landscapes and small lakes which bring you into a holiday mood. The park is very pleasant! In the southernmost part of Hampstead Heath we go to the Viewpoint, which is the highest point of London, in Parliament Hill, which offers a phenomenal panoramic view of London !! The best is to go there by good weather in order to enjoy the best possible views (in the morning, it is the clearest...). In Parliament Hill you will surely be able to admire numerous kites. We suggest you then go back on another way to the north side of the park so you discover parts of the park, which have remained a bit wild.
