Estavayer-le-lac

Estavayer-le-Lac is a city on the shores of Lake Neuchatel, on the east bank in the canton of Fribourg, with pretty narrow streets. 

Every year in June, Estavayer-le-lac celebrates the festival of the rose. The streets bloom in all their glory! The city becomes a garden of roses, they are simply everywhere: there are all kind of roses and roses of all colors. This celebration dates back to the Middle Ages, the rose being represented on the flag of Yverdon.
